RelaxToErupt

Movement Workshop with Lewis Cooke & Cassandra Cantillon

The workshop will cover :

  • Morning Forms and conditioning - a time dedicated to exploring different ways of checking in with how the body and mind is as well as conditioning exercises which will help strengthen and prepare the body.

  • Floorwork - Exploring tools that will strengthen and create space to allow us to move "effortlessly" in and through the floor

  • Improvisation - through tasks dealing with space, time, rhythm and body organisation, the aim is to develop an internal and external state allowing new possibilities to arise. Improvisation will also be used as a tool to create a reflective and observational group practice.

  • Coordination - By layering physical exertion and mental tasks to overload our systems, we will address different ways of learning and movement configurations.

*Movers of all entry points are welcome*
